Do Not be Fooled: Med School is Essentially Hogwarts

Think about it, for just a moment:

Our white coats are basically invisibility cloaks–we are no longer ourselves, but medical people, hiding the fact that we still basically know nothing.

I’m convinced that if we take the finger bones (metacarpals and phalanges) out of the bone boxes they would be seen as wands.

The strange words we have to know pretty much sound like spells–Latissimus dorsi! Obturator foramen!

We are “sorted” into “colleges”… I am in the equivalent of Ravenclaw.

This weekend, we’re even having a “College Cup”… where the colleges face off in games. Quidditch is not on the agenda… or is it? This will inevitably wind up being like the Triwizard Tournament, only with one school instead of three.

So yeah. Do not be fooled. 😉
